8x8 Inc. earned a place on Channel Partners magazine’s channel incentive industry’s “Top 50″ list. 8x8 is a leader in mobile, video, and cloud-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) development, along with unified cloud-based communications solutions.
Channel Partners is a primary U.S. news and analysis source, in regard to alternate distribution channels in the communications arena, and recently published this year’s “Top 50” list.
The group publisher at Channel Partner, Larry Lannon, explained in a press release, “Once again, Channel Partners readers have taken the time to recognize the programs that best support their work.” He noted how proud the magazine was to acknowledge the businesses that “set the standard for backing indirect partners selling network and IT services.”
One of approximately 250 nominees, consisting of carriers, hardware and software vendors, master agencies, and resellers within today’s U.S. channel industry, 8x8 received the award as a direct result of Channel Partners’ readers who responded and chose 50 of the communications industry’s best indirect channel programs. This year’s “Top 50” list received “more than 1,500 responses tallied from industry insiders.” The participating insiders consisted of consultants, brokers, VARs, dealers, master agents, subagents, and independent agents.
Another company added to this year’s list was NBS. Established in 1984 and based in New Jersey, the company provides Internet services, data, and voice to wide ranged customer base, including corporate clients, residences, and small businesses. It received the honor for its comprehensive telecom services focused on advice and assistance to agents throughout the nation.
CEO of NBS, Jon Kaufman, explained, “Channel Partners is proud to honor these companies that set the standard for backing indirect partners selling network and IT services.” He went on to say how honored the company feels to be one of the programs on the “Top 50” list, especially since the voting was done by those in the industry. Kaufman also added that for 27 years NBS channel partners and dealers “have been the life’s blood of this organization, and keeping them happy has always been our top priority.”
Being included in the September issue of Channel Partners magazine is an added perk to being on the “Top 50” list, along with being cited in the Channel Program Guide, and being featured at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo.
