Reward program members can now earn miles

With the MilleMiglia Mall, a new online shopping mall connected to the airline, the Alitalia MilleMiglia will allow its program members to earn extra miles for their purchases.

Members can click through to their favorite merchant after logging into their account and make purchases with miles automatically deposited into the member's account.

Customer rewards programs are experiencing an increased presence on social media sites that are growing in popularity, such as Facebook and Twitter. Plink recently launched a Facebook Credits-based loyalty program that rewards the site's users for dining at chain restaurants like Taco Bell, Red Robin, Quiznos, Dunkin' Donuts and Outback Steakhouse.

Once the user is logged into the Plink program through their Facebook account with a registered payment card, they can begin earning rewards that can be redeemed with participating merchants and businesses.
