We Are Hiring for Merchandise Redemption Specialist

  • Summary
    • This position is responsible for working directly with vendors and internal and external client account coordinators to ensure that all redemptions made by participants of rewards & recognition programs are fulfilled and all information regarding those redemptions is kept up to date and is communicated to the participant in a timely manner. This position also works directly with the Redemption Supervisor to help resolve all customer service escalations in a timely and effective manner, as well as, aid the Director of Operations in timely reconciliation and payment of vendor invoices.
  • Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Manage unique database of orders for rewards & recognition incentive programs, to include:
      • Creation of vendor invoices for orders received;
      • Creation of purchase orders when necessary;
      • Initiate/resend order and shipment confirmations;
      • Manage shipment dates and statuses for orders received;
      • Communicate pertinent award order information to internal and external Clients who inquire via email and phone;
      • Create and return emails to internal and external clients regarding participant orders;
      • Issue RMAs and shipping labels when necessary for approved returns;
      • Issue Refunds for items canceled or returned;
      • Process any Gift Card and Prepaid Debit Card orders on a weekly basis.
    • Vendor Focused Responsibilities
      • Receive, reconcile and submit vendor batch invoices;
      • Process any rejected items on orders (order exceptions);
      • Request necessary updates on orders past their estimated ship date (ESD) and convey necessary information regarding those updates to account coordinators;
      • Redemption Catalog Management via exception mapping; Process and Manage all Event Orders and Travel Orders via the Redemption Catalog.
    • Qualifications
      • Moderate Efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include strong skills in: Word, Excel, Outlook.
      • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
      • Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
      • Strong communication skills.
      • Ability to function at a high capacity while managing multiple projects at once.
      • Strong time management skills.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Able to work well with others.
      • Must be able to make decision on best course of action regarding resolution of customer service issues.
