Full Steam Ahead into 2020!

Like millions of companies all over the world, Q1 brought us quite a few challenges and disruptions. We apologize for the delay in publishing the Q1 newsletter—in prioritizing our virtual office set-up, we got ourselves a bit behind! But we plan to continue full-steam ahead in improving our software and being a valued partner to our clients, while maintaining a safe environment for our corporate family. We're in this together!


What's New with Us?

Check out the advances we made to our incentive program technology in Q1 and Q2:

  • We upgraded the Announcements tool with the ability to show announcements to participants with account balances within a specific point range.
  • Enhanced dashboards and reporting, including Program Equity, Target Audience, and Launch Date fields on the Program Setup Report. The Birthday Report now shows only Active Participants.
  • Program administrators can now import product categories for sponsor-fulfilled items.

Exciting news! In case you missed it in the Sunday paper, your favorite incentive company made the Atlanta Top Workplaces 2020 in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution! Not only that, we made the Top 150 list!


Top Redeemed Rewards of Q1

Our 2020 kicked off with some consistency. That changed quickly, but as far as most of Q1 was concerned, most of reward participants' typical favorites came out on top!



Redbox rentals almost always make their way into our list of most-redeemed items, so it's no surprise to see them come out on top in Q1. We wonder how many people discovered their new favorite movie this quarter?

Fandango Movie Tickets

Right on the heels of Redbox are Fandango movie tickets. It seems participants had a lot of movies to see in Q1!

Apple AirPods

Hello, Apple AirPods, good to see you in the top redeemed items list once more! We know these babies are doing a great job delivering exciting conversations, audiobooks, and music to participants' ears.

Titleist Golf Balls

Can you have too many golf balls? According to how often participants redeem points for the Titleist golf balls in our reward catalog, the answer is no!

Apple Watch

Apple products snag two spots in this quarter's top five list! What better way to bring all your communications, health tracking, and alarms with you wherever you go, without having constantly to pull out your phone?

The Communications Corner

It’s our job as partners to help you keep your program strong and exciting – so, we’re excited to announce the release of our brand new Custom Communication Packages! These packages were created to provide our clients with an easy, convenient way implement a communications plan to set their program up for success!

We have two packages: Standard PLUS and PRO. Both packages contain a variety of our most-requested program communication options for you to choose from:

The Standard PLUS package allows you to select 3 of 5 of our most-requested program communication options. This package is a good complement to our standard package and is best used to enhance program launch, promotions, and training.

The Pro Package allows you to select 5 of the 7 options. This package is our best value because it includes a more comprehensive plan for building brand awareness, increasing engagement, driving behaviors, and collecting participant feedback. Clients can use Custom Communication items at any time over the course of a full calendar year from the date of purchase. Packages can be purchased upfront or paid in two-installments.

All about our Combat Coronavirus Campaign

Incentive Solutions added a “Combat Coronavirus 2020” Category to the shopping catalog across all programs on April 28 – June 30. This gave participants the option to donate their points to the CDC Foundation’s Emergency Response Fund to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

We sent out two email communications surrounding this effort in place of the Seasonal Email included in the Standard Communications Plan. Email Criteria included participants with a point balance of $10 or more. The results are in (drumroll, please)!

  • 1,458 donations were made!
  • $22,738 was donated to the CDC's emergency fund!

There was no question about who our Star Employee of Q1 was. Our Systems Engineer, Brad Buttram, worked tirelessly to make our office virtual so we could maintain social distance. "He's so knowledgeable, so humble, so helpful and dedicated," says VP of Technology, Kelly Held. "He's dependable and obviates most problems before they happen." Since returning to Atlanta to care for family, she's worked in customer service for over 10 years. She loves dancing, listening to music, and being outdoors—she even plays in a kickball league!

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Sade moved to Atlanta in high school. She studied Childhood Education in college and has a certification in Medical Billing and Coding. With over a decade of experience in customer service, she was fortunate enough to have a variety of experiences, including managing a RaceTrac. She worked as a manager for 3 years at a RaceTrac gas station. She loves plants, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She has a nine-year-old son she loves and adores.

In his free time, he likes playing golf and travel with his family. He's an avid sports fan who attends as many sporting events as he can. Fun fact? He was born on leap day.
