Research
shows that incentive programs drive increased performance. Listed
below are facts and figures that demonstrate why a well-planned

The Incentive Federation (www.incentivefederation.org) conducted
a study that determined the following:
- 81% of North American executives run sales incentive programs
to increase or maintain sales.
- 78% of respondents agreed that travel and merchandise awards
are remembered longer than
cash payments.
- 60% felt that travel and merchandise incentives are preferred
because it is not something they would get for themselves.
- The Internet has helped reduce costs of incentive programs
by up to 60%.
